One day, everyone in the world receives a mysterious e-mail:
The world will end in exactly one year.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
The world ignores the e-mail, labeling it as a prank that had gone too far. The clock is ticking – and everyone continues to go to school, commute to work, living their usual lives.
Iyama Haruto and Nishiyama Yui, two high school classmates, decide to gamble on the chance that this e-mail is serious. This is their chance to run away. If the world is going to end, then hard work is meaningless. Why not leave everything behind and go on a journey together?
While traveling across Japan, Haruto receives private messages from the mysterious sender who announced the end of the world. But why him – and who is on the other side of the screen?
